How It Works
- Paste your schema. PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQLite DDL, DBML, Prisma, or a Mermaid ER diagram. If the exact converters can't read your format, you get a one-click AI conversion offer instead.
- Click Generate. VibeSchema converts your schema and lays out all tables automatically. The result is a live diagram: zoom and drag tables to fine-tune the layout.
- Download the image. PNG for docs and slides, SVG for wikis and anything that scales. The sun and moon button switches between a dark and a light diagram.
Starting From a Live Database?
If you'd rather pull the schema straight from a running database, the PostgreSQL, Supabase, and MySQL visualizer pages give you a read-only introspection query to run and paste.
Already Have DBML?
DBML pastes work directly in the tool above. There are also dedicated DBML to PNG and DBML to SVG pages with a DBML editor and quick reference.
Want More Control?
The VibeSchema schema tool gives you the full editor: chat with AI to evolve your schema, edit the DBML directly, rearrange tables by hand, and toggle exactly which column indicators the diagram shows. Comparing two schema versions? Use the Database Diagram Diff Tool.
Why Export an ER Diagram Image
Embedding an ER diagram image in your README, wiki, or design doc makes the data model immediately understandable to anyone on the team. A single image can replace pages of written explanation when onboarding new developers or reviewing a database design. The PNG export renders at high resolution and adapts to the size of the actual schema, so the output looks sharp for small and large schemas alike.
